For an open call by Poster for the Planet, I created a hand-illustrated design depicting pieces of ocean waste — from plastic bottles to discarded fishing nets. The illustrations cover most of the poster, leaving an irregular negative space that suggests the movement of the sea, while surrounding fish appear trapped and suffocated by the debris. The design conveys the urgency of ocean pollution and its impact on marine life.
